Our vessel performance management plan tracks fuel consumption and researches equipment enhancements to ensure the fleet is made up of clean, green, energy efficient vessels which run on reduced emissions.
Frequent hull and propeller cleaning is a mainstay of our operations strategy, with immediate and tangible benefits including increases in speed and reductions in fuel consumption and emissions.
We promise to provide ships that are managed for optimum safety, efficiency and environmental performance. We aim to cover longer distances using less energy – one of the ways in which we will minimize the environmental impact of our operations. We will show respect to communities around the world.
Improving the safety and environmental performance of vessels creates the basis for our ship management and operations model. Occupational health, safe and high-quality operations, pollution prevention and environmental preservation are priorities of AIMS’s SQE department, which works closely with our other teams to monitor and promote these principles.
The provision of a safe working environment is a responsibility we take very seriously. We achieve this first and foremost by ensuring our ships are in excellent condition. The next step is to provide training to all on-board and shore personnel with a view to building on their safety management skills.
Our crew’s well-being and the identification and management of risks which may cause injury is of paramount importance and we work hard to establish safeguards and emergency protocols. AIMS is fully compliant with all regulatory.
The crewing agencies with which we cooperate are constantly on the look-out for talented seafarers to ensure that all vessels under management are adequately manned according to international regulations and charterers’ requirements.
Experienced and skilled operators work around the clock to select and appoint suitable seafarers onboard, as well as to maintain an adequate pool of seamen on leave.
